GURGAON: The NSG campus in Manesar will get three water bodies to help wildlife thrive during the summer.
The move came after camers the campus captured a pair of leopards playing under the trees on Monday, their eyes glowing in the video footage of the night.
It has been observed that wildlife ventures into human habitat in search of water. To ensure that they stay in the forest, the NSG will set up water bodies in the campus.
"The water bodies will be of 50x30 metres area. We carried out a survey to identify patches which are naturally of low elevation so that monsoon rain can be collected and we have found three such patches. We will start the work this month and expect to finish it by May this year," said Jagdish Prasad Maithani, group commander (Garrison) of the elite counter-terrorism force.
