Rahul Gandhi did not say anything that requires apology: Shashi Tharoor

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor came out in support of Rahul Gandhi and said that the Wayanad MP has not said anything that requires an apology. Tharoor said, "he (Rahul Gandhi) specified that ‘we'll solve issues internally & just want everyone to be aware because Indian democracy is for global public good’. The Thiruvananthapuram MP said that Rahul's statement is milder than what PM Modi has said about India in his public meetings abroad. He said that PM has constantly attacked Congress party, previous govt, alleged lack of progress before he came to power. 'This kind of discourse abroad was initiated by PM Modi not by Congress.' He further clarified that Rahul never demanded for any foreign intervention in India's internal matters.
