Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(number of shares traded: 6.27 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 1.67 crore), Adani Power(number of shares traded: 1.41 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 1.31 crore), Tata Steel(number of shares traded: 1.11 crore), Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 0.97 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 0.92 crore), GAIL(number of shares traded: 0.78 crore), Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 0.72 crore) and South Indian Bnk(number of shares traded: 0.71 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:04AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 0.05 points down at 17154.25, while BSE Sensex was up 11.2 points at 58249.05 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.72 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 1.57 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.31 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.15 per cent) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 0.82 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 6.52 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.77 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.49 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.43 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.10 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
