Pakyong, 14 March: For even more interplanetary adventure, Marvel’s dysfunctional band of raucous space heroes have returned.

As this protracted winter fades, spring flowers won’t be the only thing emerging, as Marvel Comics is prepared to sow a brand-new “Guardians of the Galaxy” expedition in our laps with the release of the first issue of this new comic series on April 12, 2023. See the brand-new comic book trailer above!

Marvel will provide devoted fans with this ongoing cosmic adventure series that strikes deep into the heart of our favorite interstellar squad one month before filmmaker James Gunn’s “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” invades theatres in May. For even more interplanetary adventure, Marvel’s dysfunctional band of raucous space heroes has returned.
Written by Jackson Lanzing & Collin Kelly (“Star Trek,” “Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty”) and fortified with stirring artwork from illustrator Kev Walker (“Predator”), ace colorist Matt Hollingsworth (“Tokyo Ghost,” “Wytches”), and main cover artist Marco Checchetto (“Daredevil,” “Star Wars”), “Guardians of the Galaxy” is being branded as essential reading for followers of these beloved sci-fi luminaries.

“These characters have been trippy super heroes, adorable smugglers, and cosmic warfighterssuperheroes who are living under continual pandemonium. This was an opportunity to take them someplace altogether different,” Lanzing recently told CBR. Therefore, the Western became a means for us to communicate that this book’s tone will differ from the ‘Guardians’ books that you are accustomed with.
Grootfall, a terrifying new cosmic peril that originated from the team’s core, is introduced in Guardians of the Galaxy #1 to the Marvel Universe. Marvel’s cherished group of cosmic super heroes will be forced into the Manifold Territories, an untamed, lawless region of Marvel space home to unexplored worlds and unknown alien races.

The Guardians have experienced their lowest points, and their newly formed family is more shattered than ever. The Guardians emerge as the Folds’ only hope for salvation as they struggle to overcome their tragedy. On the most desolate frontier, can they rediscover their courage and humanity? Can they put their previous mistakes behind them? Or will they vanish into oblivion, never to be pardoned?

This thrilling new trailer allows viewers to take in the dark galaxy-twisting force they are encountering while revealing the subtle makeover given to the crew, which comprises Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Nebula, and Mantis.

“I think the framework of our run can also excite spectators,” Kelly continued . “We’re kicking off with five separate issues. This is the story of a newcomer to a different town each week who learns about the trauma, drama, and pain present before confronting it, stepping into it in their own way, and ultimately emerging on the other side.”
On April 12, 2023, Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy #1” will be released, sporting variant covers by Derrick Chew, Aaron Kuder, Kael Ngu, and Scottie Young.
