Is quality of life an important parameter in the prognosis of CVD- (CIVIQ Score)?

  |

Overview

Quality of life is an important parameter in the prognosis of chronic venous diseases. Chronic venous diseases can significantly impact a person's quality of life, affecting their ability to perform daily activities, work, and engage in social activities.

CIVIQ Score is Chronic Venous Disease Quality of Life Questionnaire. It is used to measure the impact of chronic venous insufficiency on patients; the more the CIVIQ score, the more problems the patient will have.

Assessing the quality of life as part of the overall management of chronic venous diseases and incorporating interventions aimed at improving quality of life into treatment plans might help patients in the treatment.

Through this video, Dr. Bikash Rai Das, a Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon from Ayursundra Super Specialty Hospital Guwahati, will explain how the quality of life is an essential parameter in the prognosis of CVD- (CIVIQ Score).
