Salman Khan still remains one of the most eligible bachelors in Bollywood and his marriage has always been a topic of discussion. Over the years, the actor has remained tight-lipped about her marriage plans and laughed the topic off.

However, an old interview of Salman Khan is going viral on social media in which he wished about his desire of marrying actor Juhi Chawla. He said he had once asked Chawla’s father for her hand in marriage but his father rejected the proposal.

The clip is from an old interview of Salman Khan from the 1990s when he revealed his love for Juhi Chawla. In the video, Salman said Juhi is very sweet. Adorable girl. He said he asked her father if he would let her married to her. To which the interviewer shockingly asks what did her father say. Salman frowns and says, No. When the interviewer asks why, Salman replies, Don’t fit the bill, I guess.

For the unversed, Salman Khan and Juhi Chawla worked together in the 1997 comedy Deewana Mastana which also starred Anil Kapoor and Govind in the lead. Salman Khan made a cameo in the 1997 film helmed by David Dhawan in which Salman, incidentally, gets to marry Juhi at the end.

Salman and Juhi have thereafter never worked together as a couple, however, they shared screen space in Zero, Andaz Apna Apna, Son of Sardaar and Salaam-E-Ishq.

Juhi married businessman Jay Mehta in 1995 and have two children, a daughter Jhanvi and a son Arjun.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Juhi was last seen in the Prime Video Sharmaji Namkeen. She also appeared in Prime Video’s web series Hush Hush. Juhi was last seen on the big screen in the 2019 film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga.

On the other hand, Salman Khan will be seen Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Tiger 3 which will release this year. He will also reunite with Sooraj Barjatya for a grand family entertainer titled Prem Ki Shaadi which will release next year on Diwali.

Marathi actor Bhagyashree Mote’s sister Madhu Markandya was found dead in the Wakad area of Pune’s Pimpri-Chinchwad. According to the reports, injury marks have also been found on her face. Police are investigating the matter.

The Patil actor took to social media and penned down an emotional note remembering her sister. She also shared a series of photos with her sister which she captioned that her dear sister bids adieu to this world! She said she can never express in words what her sister meant to her. My mother, sister, friend, confidant, and what not? she added.

Bhagyahsree further wrote that her sister was her foundation. Center of her whole being. She said she is completely lost without her. The actor said she doesn’t know what she will do with this life without her sister because she never taught her that, she added.

In another post, she wrote, How do I let you go? You are part of my being. Sleep in peace now. Your baby will take care of the rest.

Bhagyashree’s sister Madhu was a baker and on Sunday she went out to look for a room to rent in order to expand her business. But she fell down due to sudden dizziness and was rushed to the hospital by her friend where she was declared dead. But, she was asked to take her to Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital.

Madhu’s family suspects that she has been murdered while police claim it is a case of sudden death.

Satyawan Mane, Senior Police Inspector of Wakad said they have registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR). He said they are looking into the matter and will take further action after a proper investigation.

Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya are one of the most iconic actor-director pairs in the Bollywood industry. They have given us some cult grand family classics and now if rumours are to be believed, the duo is returning with yet another family entertainer titled Prem Ki Shaadi.

According to the reports, Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya have been discussing Prem Ki Shaadi for a while now and the film is now in the stage of hitting the floors this year. Salman and Sooraj are looking to start Prem Ki Shaadi in November/December 2023. With the film, Sooraj plans to celebrate love in the backdrop of nuclear families and is among the most special subjects that he has developed to date.

Prem Ki Shaadi: Female Lead

The female lead and another cast of the film have not yet decided. Reportedly, Barjatya will get into the process of locking the female lead and key ensemble cast of Prem Ki Shaadi in a couple of months. While his films have always had romantic tracks leading to shaadi, this time around, the entire conflict revolves around the life of a married couple with strong family elements.

Prem Ki Shaadi: Release Date

According to the reports, Prem Ki Shaadi is slated to hit the theatres on Diwali 2024. The film is expected to clash with Ajay Devgn’s Singham 2 and Kartik Aaryan’s Bhhol Bhulaiyaa 3.

Salman Khan’s upcoming films

Salman Khan has various films lined up. His upcoming film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan will hit the silver screen on Eid 2023 and Tiger 3 will be released on Diwali 2023. Salman has also been offered a film each by Mythri, Dharma Productions, Dil Raju, Aamir Khan Productions, and Sajid Nadiadwala that have the potential of being his Eid 2024 offing. The actor has not yet finalized the project.
