Man arrested for attacking school students in Odisha's Keonjhar district

KEONJHAR: A man was arrested for attacking students and teachers of a primary school with a sharp weapon in Bhaliadihi village under Sadar police station in Keonjhar district on Monday. The accused was identified as Naran Karjee.
A boy's hand was fractured while another girl sustained injury on her back. One of the teachers was also injured while trying to restrain the accused. The incident occurred around 12.30 pm when classes were going on. There are 40 students studying from classes I to V. District education officer P C Sethy said, "We will ensure security of the students and school staff. Police will take legal action."
