IIT-Madras shows off 70 stunning projects by its centre for innovation

IIT Madras' Centre For Innovation showcased more than 70 fascinating projects at the annual Open House held on campus. The groundbreaking technologies including 3D Printing, astronomy and AI/ML to Drones, Autonomous Vehicles, Hyperloop and Techno-entertainment. New products such as a solar-powered electric vehicle, a beach cleaning robot and an AI DJ were also displayed. The CFI Open House is a unique opportunity for students to share their work with the wider community. So far, over 100 patents and many student-led start-ups have originated from CFI. An automated shuttle vehicle named "Bolt" was also showcased at the event. IIT director V Kamakoti even travelled on Bolt for a few meters as it was demonstrated in a closed and controlled environment.
