EV sales growing at 80%: Tata Motors

Jaipur: Tata Motors on Friday said that its electric vehicle (EV) sales growing at 80% and it is selling about 300-350 units a month. On the sidelines of the launch of its ‘DARK’ range of models comprising Nexon, Harrier, and Safari, spokesperson of the company said that currently the company has four EV products including the recently launched Tiago.
“We have a market share of 89% in the EV segment in Rajasthan. By 2025, Tata Motors will have 10 EV models. EVs contribute 15% to our total sales,” he said.
He said with EVs, one gets a mileage of 1 km with Rs 1 and one can charge at home without the need to go to a fuel station. tnn
