Four arrested with explosives, arms in West Bengal

KOLKATA: The Bengal STF arrested four persons and seized 10kg explosives and illegal weapons from them at Plassey in Nadia on Saturday evening.
The fifth accused was detained in Kolkata. Cops said the accused — Taib Ali Sheikh, Najrul Islam of Nabadwip, Nizamuddin Seikh and Ukil Sekh of Shaktipur in Murshidabad — were part of an inter-state arms smuggling racket. They were in contact with criminals on both sides of the border.
