Gurugram, 12 March : On Sunday, police reported that a group of three youths allegedly gang-raped a Class 8 girl student after abducting her from her school during a sports program in a village in the Sohna area.

The perpetrators also created an objectionable video of the incident and uploaded it on social media.

Authorities have conducted medical examinations on the victim, and are currently conducting raids to apprehend the suspects. Upasana, the DCP of South, confirmed that an FIR has been filed against the three accused under IPC sections 363 (abduction) and 376-D A (gang rape on a woman under sixteen years of age) and section 13/6 of the POCSO Act at Sohna Sadar Police Station.

The father of the 14-year-old girl filed the complaint, stating that the accused – Mayank, Gaurav, and Harish – abducted his daughter from her school on December 18, 2022, took her to a hill area, and took turns raping her. The perpetrators threatened to kill the victim if she told anyone about the incident.
