KOLKATA: Bengal CM
Mamata Banerjee is likely to visit Delhi on Tuesday to attend a meeting of non-BJP parties. The meeting is an initiative towards a federal front ahead of the 2024 LS polls, "as BJP is not going to form the government because of its anti-people policies," said TMC spokesperson Kunal Ghosh.
"The CM is likely to bring up common-agenda issues, such as the Centre's use of ED and CBI against opposition parties to terrorise them," Ghosh said, adding, "The Centre constantly disturbs opposition governments in different states through agencies. The non-allocation of funds by the Centre is also likely to be addressed." Several CMs from states not governed by the BJP were likely to attend, Ghosh said.
