BJP stands for development: Goa CM

Mangaluru: The BJP is known for taking forward the politics of development, said Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant. Addressing the Vijay Sankalp Yatra at Kavoor on Sunday, he said the party workers should script for developing new Karnataka by reinstating the BJP government in the state.
Mangalore City North MLA Dr Y Bharath Shetty said, “The party believes in Hindutva and development and there will be no compromise on the issue. Congress aspirantsbelieve that they can buy Hindu votes. But the Hindus should be aware of their pseudo mentality. They (Muslim aspirants) visit the temple and accept prasadam and discard it before boarding the car,” he alleged. Former minister K S Eshwarappa said that Siddaramaiah will lose the election, no matter where he contests. Earlier in the day, the Goa CM visited Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala and met Dharmadhikari D Veerendra Heggade.
