A-listers brought their fashion A game to the Oscars 2023 red carpet.

From Rihanna to Mindy Kaling, a slew of stars closed out awards season in style (and got fans talking) with their memorable style statements.

And, with the exception of Lady Gaga’s buzzy makeup-free performance look, celebrities went equally big with their eye-catching makeup and hair looks for Hollywood’s biggest night.

And unlike their couture gown, the beauty products behind their Academy Awards-ready glam won’t break the bank.

Below, we’ve broken down 10 beauty looks from the 2023 Oscars — and how to shop them.

Rihanna

On the heels of her Super Bowl halftime show performance, the Bad Gal delivered another beauty touchdown (filled with Fenty Beauty products, of course). In addition to her complexion staples — the bestselling Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Liquid Foundation ($40) and Instant Retouch Concealer ($30) — her look included the Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter ($40) and the Icon Semi-Matte Refillable Lipstick ($20) in Grill Mast’r.

“We wanted to create a monochromatic makeup look with a maple red lip and highlight, punctuated by strong black eyeliner, to echo the structure of Rihanna’s gown,” makeup artist Priscilla Ono said in a press release.

Jessica Chastain

Jessica Chastain channeled old Hollywood — and used Hollywood Contour Wands ($42) from Charlotte Tilbury — at the Academy Awards. In addition to the TikTok-loved contour sticks, she also glowed in products from the brand’s celebrity-loved Pillow Talk collection, including the same Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes Mascara ($29) that made our roundup of the best celebrity-loved mascaras.

Lady Gaga

Before stripping off her makeup to perform her Oscar-nominated song “Hold My Hand,” Lady Gaga hit the red carpet wearing products from her Haus Labs brand, including the new Color Fuse Blush ($38) and a statement lip courtesy of the company’s Atomic Shake Lip Lacquer ($26) in Cherry Shine.

Halle Berry

Halle Berry looked fresh as a daisy (or rose, rather) with a ‘60s-inspired look featuring Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream ($65), a celebrity-loved moisturizer that now comes in a new version for the body, too.

The “Catwoman” star’s skincare prep also included the CurrentBody Skin LED Face Mask ($380), which her makeup artist Jorge Monroy called “the perfect device to create a smooth canvas for the red carpet” in a press release.

Michelle Yeoh

Prior to her big win, Michelle Yeoh got glammed up with fluttering false lashes from celebrity-loved Lashify: a mix of the Amplify Gossamer Lashes ($20) and Plushy Gossamer Lashes ($25).

“I wanted to open Michelle’s eyes by giving her added volume in the middle and lengthening the outer corner for more of a cat eye look,” her makeup artist Sabrina Bedrani said in a press release.

Cara Delevingne

Hairstylist Danielle Priano created Delevingne’s slicked-back bun using Big Sexy Hair Spray & Stay Intense Hold Hairspray ($21), telling Marie Claire she “opted for a classic side part into a bun to show off Cara’s amazing features.”

Salma Hayek

Just call it “Keeping Up With Salma Hayek.” The star took a page out of Kim Kardashian’s book on the red carpet, using products from the reality star’s go-to makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic. Her look included Makeup by Mario’s latest buzzy release, the SurrealSkin Foundation ($42).

Angela Bassett

When it comes to Angela Bassett’s Oscars hair, it’s stylist Randy Stodghil who did the thing. The hair expert used Navy Hair Care products, including the argan oil- and green tea-powered Whirlpool Powdered Styling Foam ($42).

Ashley Graham

No need to scour catwalk-priced brands for Ashley Graham’s makeup look — a walk to the drugstore will suffice. The model’s makeup artist Ivan Núñez used all Revlon items for her Oscars glam, including the Colorstay Eyeliner ($10), Colorstay Day to Night Eyeshadow Quad in Moonlit ($7) and So Fierce! Big Bad Lash Mascara ($11).

Jamie Lee Curtis

Jamie Lee Curtis matched the champagne carpet with her glittering gown and shimmering eyeshadow from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Primrose Palette ($55), completing the look with a swipe of the brand’s Tinted Lip Gloss in Amber Sparkle ($20).
