This telugu actress rose to stardom for roles in films like swayamvaram and Preminchu, but she left acting in her mid-20s, got married, and made her home in the USA. She made a cameo in Sreenu Vaitla's amar Akbar Antony, although she didn't win any awards for it. But, laya has suddenly increased her PR efforts, with interviews appearing on numerous YouTube channels and certain tv shows. What is the cause of this?

Some claim that Laya, 40, who works as an IT consultant in the united states while her husband is a doctor, has her sights set on a major comeback in telugu movies. Although she won't get any heroic roles, she reportedly plans to play some intriguing character roles. Yet, laya lacks both age and glamour, which are prerequisites for such jobs.
