Spurned lover molests woman in Ahmedabad

AHMEDABAD: Sarkhej police registered a woman’s complaint of molestation and criminal intimidation against her former lover. The woman, 40, was molested on Friday and the accused threatened her with a revolver on Saturday.
The complainant said that her husband had died six years ago and she has two children. She stated that she had an affair with one Bhavesh Patel, also a resident of Sarkhej. When her children learned about the affair, she distanced herself from Patel and stopped speaking to him.
Patel then began continually pressuring her to maintain their relationship. On Friday, when the woman was going somewhere on her scooter, Patel followed her and demanded that she talk to him. When she refused, he molested her. When she cried out for help, Patel fled.
On Saturday morning, when the woman again left for work, she was again followed by Patel.
He had got a revolver tucked into his belt. He threatened her saying she should continue their relationship or he would kill her.
