Congress to stage march to Raj Bhawan against ‘crony capitalism’ tomorrow

JAIPUR: The state Congress will organise a Raj Bhavan march on Monday in protest against the policy of crony capitalism practiced by the Narendra Modi government in favour of big industrialists like Gautam Adani.
The march under the leadership of PCC president Govind Singh Dotasra will be attended by chief minister Ashok Gehlot and party in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, ministers, MLAs, MLA candidates, state Congress office-bearers, corporation/board chairmen and vice presidents, senior Congressmen including office-bearers of frontal organisations.
Swarnim Chaturvedi, the spokesperson of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee, said that the central government's policy of crony capitalism in favour of the Adani group, under which vital infrastructure of the country was being sold to the Adani group at the time of deep economic crisis in the country and public institutions like SBI and LIC were being forced to invest in the Adani group putting at risk the savings of the poor and middle class.
All Congressmen will gather at Civil Lines crossing, Jaipur, where a big meeting will also be organised.
Chaturvedi said on Monday at 3 pm, a meeting of state Congress office-bearers, and district presidents will be held at the state Congress headquarters, Indira Gandhi Bhawan, Station Road, Jaipur. The presidents and vice-presidents of the blocks will also attend the meeting, he added.
