NKU: 'No danger to campus' after human remains found behind soccer stadium

Human remains were discovered Sunday afternoon on Northern Kentucky University's campus, a university spokesman confirmed.
According to a statement from the university, NKU police were dispatched at 12:28 p.m. after a bystander, who was on campus for soccer activities, found what appeared to be human remains in a wooded area behind the soccer stadium.
No foul play is suspected, the statement says, and "the situation poses no danger to campus."
NKU and Highland Heights police are on scene with the Campbell County coroner to investigate.
