SURAT: Three fresh Covid-19 cases were reported by health officials in the city on Saturday. The patients are advised home isolation while their health is reportedly stable.
A 62-year-old woman from the central zone area tested positive after she had been suffering of fever and cold for three days. She has no co-morbidities and her health is stable. A total of 12 individuals who came in contact with th woman were tested and found negative.
A 35-year-old man from Ved Road tested positive when he got tested after four days of cold and cough. The patient has no co-morbidities and was advised home isolation. A total of 24 persons who came in contact with the man were tested and none were found to be infected with the virus.
The third patient is a 60-year-old man from Rander who reported fever and cold for the past two days. He to was advised home isolation as he doesn’t have co-morbidities. A total of 14 persons who came in his contact were tested and found negative. The man had returned from Uttar Pradesh on February 25. All three patients are fully vaccinated and do not have a history of Covid-19 infection in the past. Total nine Covid-19 cases are active in the city while one patient died on Thursday.
