11-year-old girl gang-raped in Bihar's East Champaran, one held

MOTIHARI: An 11-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by three persons of her village in East Champaran district. The offenders also made a video of the crime. The victim lodged an FIR on Friday against the three persons. One of the accused, Kabil Ansari, was arrested within three hours of lodging the case.
SP, East Champaran, Kantesh Kumar Mishra said the victim had been sent to Motihari Sadar hospital for medical examination and a special police team conducted raids and nabbed the other accused.
The survivor alleged that she was gang-raped by the three on February 26 near her village. They had threatened her not to tell anyone about it or they would make the video of the crime viral on social media.
She told her parents and they admitted her to a private clinic. But on Friday, the accused threatened again. In her FIR, the girl named two persons and one unidentified one. SP Mishra constituted a special police team .
