J&K: Snow clearance operation underway on historical Mughal Road in Rajouri

Snow clearance operation is underway on the historical Mughal Road in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. The operation was started on March 10. It was started by the Mughal Road Projects – PWD (R&B) Department. Authorities are using the latest heavy machines for the operations and it will be completed soon. Mughal Road is a short and alternate route connecting the Rajouri and Poonch districts with Kashmir valley and the rest of the country. Most people use this road for their business purposes. But the road was closed from December 2022 due to heavy snowfall. So the authorities are doing their work on a war footing to restore the road.
