Tangline Venture Partners, a Singapore-based venture capital firm, led the USD2.1 million seed investment round for SaaS startup Houseware.

Additional investors include GTMfund and Better Capital, as well as unnamed angel investors from SaaS companies such as Snowflake, Stripe, Carta, Zendesk, and Superhuman.

Houseware plans to utilise the capital to expand its customer base, expand its personnel, and expand its capabilities through agreements with partners such as Snowflake, according to a release.

With plans to more than double its personnel by 2023, the corporation is actively pursuing technical and design expertise in India. There are now 12 members.

Houseware, founded in late 2021 by Saini and fellow BITS Pilani alumni Shubhankar Srivastava, assists clients in the SaaS business in interpreting data flowing across departments to keep real-time track on indicators associated with income.

Houseware won the 2022 Snowflake Startup Challenge at the Snowflake Summit in Las Vegas, where it competed with over 300 other firms from 70 countries.
