During the IPL 2023 league stage, Rajasthan Royals will play 14 games against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings, Chennai Super Kings, Gujarat Titans, and Royal Challengers Bangalore twice. RR will only play once against Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants.

The Rajasthan Royals picked nine players during the IPL 2023 auction, with Jason Holder being their most expensive pick at Rs. 5.75 crore. Adam Zampa and Joe Root were also important picks at Rs. 1.5 crore and Rs. 1 crore, respectively.
After defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore in Qualifier 2, RR reached the final last season. However, they finished as runners-up after losing the final to Gujarat Titans. Rajasthan won the IPL title once in 2008 and will look to win their second title in 2023.
