Nepal envoy hails India-Nepal army relationship on 260th Nepali Army Day

Nepali Ambassador to India Shankar Prasad Sharma on March 11 hailed the India-Nepal army relations on the 260th Nepali Army Day in New Delhi Embassy. Speaking to ANI, the envoy highlighted the relationship between the two armies that started from the very beginning of the establishment of its army. The envoy also said about the support given by Indian Army, he said that the army relations between the two countries have strengthened and they hope that it will strengthen over the years. Nepal Ambassador to India Shankar Prasad Sharma said, “This is the 260th Nepal Army day. Nepal army is the oldest army in South Asia. India-Nepal army relations started a long time ago, from the very beginning of the establishment of the Nepali army. Many of these people were trained in India, and in addition to that logistics, medical supplies, vaccines etc. have been provided by the Indian army. We have seen the army relations between the two countries have strengthened and we hope that it will strengthen over the years.”
