Online bidding for e-auction of plots starts

Kanpur: The online bidding for e-auction of plots began on Friday when vice-chairman of Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) Arvind Singh pressed the button on e-auction portal of www.kdaindia.co.in and inaugurated the auction of around 333 commercial plots in the city.
Interested persons may participate in e-auction through online bidding after getting them registered till March 31.
The plots are available in Mahaveer Nagar Extension, Shatabdi Nagar, Bhagirathi, Jhanvi and Swarn Jayanti Vihar schemes which are fully developed. Interested persons may locate the plots with the help of Google location on site. According to law officer SB Rai, successful applicants, who had applied through e-auction portal will get 5 percent rebate on balance amount if they pay it within 90 days after allocation. they will get physical possession of plot immediately.
