Trainee staff jumps to death from Technopark building

Thiruvananthapuram: A 23-year-old man working at the Technopark committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of the office building on Friday evening.
The deceased has been identified by the police as Roshith, son of Santhosh, of Souparnika at Manacaud. Roshith was a staff trainee at the programming section of a start-up called Tosil Systems Private Limited. He had joined the firm six months ago.
The police said he was under treatment for depression and there was no foul-play in his death. “The parents of Roshith told us that he was an introvert and had shown suicide tendencies earlier also. On Friday, he joined duty as usual and went missing after lunch. He was seen standing at an isolated corner for a while by someone. Hearing some noise people examined the area and found him in a pool of blood,” said the police. TNN
