Krishi mandi secy in ACB net for taking Rs 25,000 bribe in Rajasthan's Bundi

KOTA: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Bundi arrested a Krishi Upaj Mandi secretary from his office in Keshoraipatan town of Bundi district on Friday for allegedly taking bribe of Rs 25,000.
The accused secretary allegedly demanded bribe of Rs 30,000 for issuing FPO licence to a farmer.
On receipt of the complaint on Friday, ACB Bundi carried out verification and laid trap on the same day.
"The accused Mandi secretary was identified as Narendra Kumar Soni, a resident of Kota city and posted at Krishi Upajmandi, Keshoraipatan town in Bundi. He was on Friday arrested from his office after he accepted a bribe of Rs 25,000 from a farmer," ACB Bundi DSP Gyanchand Meena said.
Search operation by Kota ACB (Rural) squad was underway at Mandi secretary's house in Kota and report on it is awaited, he added.
