Maharashtra Opposition leaders stage protest holding pumpkins

Opposition leaders of Maharashtra on March 10 staged a protest outside the Vidhan Bhawan in Mumbai by holding pumpkins. The Opposition leaders alleged that the state government has not provided any relief to the public in the State Budget. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Devendra Fadnavis on March 09 presented the Eknath Shinde-led government’s first Budget for the year 2023-24 in the State Assembly.
