Hindi spoken widely in the country, says CM

Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Friday said that in the Amrut Kaal, with efforts of the central government, Hindi Language is being accepted and spoken widely in all the states of India.

“Hindi as the most preferred language of litterateurs has been making forceful impact not just in the country, but globally as well,” he added.

Sawant further expressed confidence that the multilingual state of Goa would definitely contribute more to the Hindi language literature in the near future.

The Chief Minister was addressing the inauguration ceremony of the two-day international seminar on ‘Economic Scenario of the World as Expressed in Hindi Literature’ organised under the joint auspices of the Hindi department and Hindi Research Centre of the Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Sankhali and directorate of higher education.

The conference was graced by the presence of Prof. Tomio Mijokami, Japan, and Prof. Umapati Dikshit, head of the department of education and language dissemination, Central Institute of Hindi of the Ministry of Education.

The seminar will focus on deliberations with respect to the economic scenario of the world as expressed in Hindi literature that offers a rich and varied landscape for discussion and exploration.
