Taxi driver booked for threatening man

Coimbatore: The Ramanathapuram police have registered a case against a taxi driver for threatening passengers of another car with a knife on Trichy Road flyover near Sungam on Tuesday evening.
Police booked V Arun, 24, of Vinayagar Kovil Street at B.K Pudur, for threatening R Mohanraj, 32, of Mahaganapathy Nagar at Vellalore and his family. Mohanraj said he confronted Arun after the taxi hit his car on the flyover around 6.45pm. “He used foul language and flashed a knife threatening me, my mother and aunt,” he said. TNN
