Norfolk signs agreement with 2 labor unions for ~650 railroaders to avail paid sick leave

  • Norfolk Southern (NYSE:NSC) said Friday it reached an agreement with two of its labor unions for its railroad workers to avail up to seven days of paid sick leave per year.
  • Norfolk said the agreement for paid sick leaves covers about 650 union railroaders.
  • The new sick leave benefit agreement was signed with International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail, Transportation Workers, Mechanical Department and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
