Two detained under Goondas Act

Tirupur: City police commissioner Praveen Kumar Abinapu had detained two people, who tried to murder a man in Nallur police station limit on January 23, under the Goondas Act.
S Subash, 27, of Bhagawan Nagar and M Ravikumar, 23, of Kallankadu 1st Street, had attacked a man using a broken liquor bottle and a knife near a Tasmac shop at Pudupalayam. The duo was arrested the next day and lodged in prison. TNN
