Free bus travel for 18,000 women

Rajkot: Over 18,000 women travelled free of charge in the city buses run by Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) on international Women’s Day on Wednesday. According to RMC, on March 8 about 10,000 women travelled in city buses and 8,895 women travelled in BRTS buses. RMC also allows free travel for women passengers during Rakshabandhan and Bhaiduj festivals. tnn
