Tharun, however, has lately focused on playing small parts in movies and online series. In a recent episode of the anthology series Anger Tales, he played the spouse of Madonna Sebastian. No one has a clue as to what drew Tharun to play such a one-dimensional part with no "flesh" after watching the episode (pun intended). The director is running low on confidence these days and he is struggling to get a solid script to meet the demands of the hero.

The consensus is that Tharun Bhascker is a skilled director who should concentrate solely on creating engaging movies. Such uninteresting assignments won't help his career in any way. His upcoming film, a criminal comedy called Keeda Cola, will be directed by him. The movie doesn't have any big names, but Tharun says he is reintroducing brahmanandam in a never-before-seen part.
