Samsung is fixing the Galaxy S23 Ultra S Pen connectivity issues. The new flagship’s S Pen experience was marred by a bug that caused the input device to be disconnected from the phone, but the latest version of Air Command appears to be fixing this problem.
Samsung has just released Air Command version 7.1.21.0 via the Galaxy Store. The changelog mentions only one change, and it’s a most-welcomed one. According to Samsung, the new Air Command version stabilizes the S Pen connection.
In case you missed the news, many Galaxy S23 Ultra users reported S Pen connectivity issues for the past few weeks. An unknown bug would cause the S Pen to disconnect randomly from the phone. And although there were a few potential workarounds and temporary fixes, nothing seemed to solve the problem permanently. This Air Command update should address the issue and prevent the S Pen from randomly disconnecting from the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Samsung’s latest Galaxy S23 Ultra is the new Note for S Pen fans. The Note series is gone but lives on through the Ultra Galaxy S models. Many Ultra users come from the Note series. And for them, a robust S Pen experience is a must. Thankfully, Samsung didn’t wait around and seemingly addressed the Galaxy S23 Ultra S Pen connectivity issues in a reasonable amount of time.
