H3N2 influenza virus: No need to panic, precaution needs to be taken, says Anil Vij

Speaking on a death in Haryana due to H3N2 Virus, Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on March 10 said that the cause of death of a 56-year-old is being examined whether it was due to H3N2 or something else and there is no need to panic, only precaution needs to be taken. “The H3N2 is one of the types of Influenza virus only. Total of 10 cases have been reported for the same in Haryana as of now. The cause of death of a 56-year-old is being examined whether it was due to H3N2 or something else as he was suffering from lung cancer. The vice-chancellor of Rohtak is looking into the matter. Only precaution needs to be taken and no need to panic, the government is taking necessary steps for the same.”
