Kia likely to introduce CNG Sonet, photos with gas kit leaked ahead of official launch

Amid the fuel price rise in India, several top car manufacturers are either modifying their existing vehicles into CNG or launching new ones. Hyundai’s sister company Kia, which has turned many heads and won millions of hearts with its mid-size SUV Sonet, also doing the same. The report says that the company is testing the CNG version of the vehicle and soon will launch it in the market.
Ahead of the official launch, a test mule without any camouflage and a CNG kit at the back has been spotted during the testing in Pune. The images, it is clearly giving a hint that the upcoming CNG Sonet will will be launched on the same platform, with not too much changes but with just a smart CNG option.

As per the viral ingest, it showed the emission testing equipment has been placed at the rear of the vehicle’s boot, which will eventually comprise boot space in the future. The report says that the firm is testing the gas option with its advance and top-end variant X-Line with the 1.0L turbo petrol engine option.
As far as the price is concerned, it is expected that the the vehicle might become costilier by Rs 1 lakh as compared to its ongoing petrol model. However, the company has not revealed any offcial details regarding the same as of now. When it comes to the rivals, there is not direct competitio to it. But, in the future, there will be few as Maruti Suzuki is also all set to launch CNG Brezza in upcoming months, which might give a tough fight to the sub 4m SUV.
Kia Sonet CNG features and safety
Customers can expect some noticeable changes in the upcoming CNG version. It might come with an updated touchscreen infotainment system with android, apple and auto carplay, multi-functional steering where, dual climate control, power window, semi-digital instrumental clusters with rear and front parking sensors. It is also expected that the company might introduce an electric sunroof in the four-wheeler, however, there are no official details about the same.

The Indian carmakers recently teased the customers with its much-awaited vehicle named Curvv EV’s concept avatar at AutoExpo 2023. Since then, the customers kept on searching for details about the vehicles desperately. According to all the speculations and sources, it has been reported that the vehicle is likely to hit the roads somewhere around mid of 2024 or the end of 2024.
If launched, the EV will come in both petrol-engine and electric versions. Talking about the fuel one first, it might feature a new 1.2L turbo engine that will generate 125PS and 225Nm of peak torque. However, the EV specs are not known yet.

Teased at AutoExpo 2023 its concept version, the vehicle is likely to back its comeback in an electric version at the start or mid-2024. As far as the changes are concerned, it has been reported that the firm is likely to retain its signature styling and might carry forward some of the features from its current petrol version.
Tata Sierra

There is no doubt in saying that every single person has been waiting for the king-size SUV Sierra. Since its official presence at AutoExpo 2023, the vehicle became the talk of the town.
If rumors are to be believed, the company has a plan to launch the vehicle somewhere around December 2025. The SUV will come with a measurement of around 4.3 metres in length and features the company’s Gen 2 platform, which already achieved a lot of applause from critics.

At the price range, the customers will get the 7- and 8-seater MPV with advanced features like full LED DRL setup from both front and rear, automatic climate control, multi-functional steering wheel, rear parking sensor, 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, seat belt reminder, a well build windshield among others.

The Japanese car manufacturer on Thursday introduced another variant named VX(O) of one of its hot-selling products Innova Hycross. Apart from this, the company also increased the price of the vehicle by ranging between Rs 25,000 – Rs 75,000, which means now the MPV will come at the price bracket between Rs 18.55 – 29.72 lakh (ex-showroom).
The newly launched Innova Hycross VX (O) trim, will be placed above the VX and below the ZX variant. When it comes to the features, the new variant comes with LED fog lamps, a wider panoramic sunroof, paired with mood lighting, and an advanced 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is wirelessly supported by Apple CarPlay connectivity among others.

At the price range, the customers will get the 7- and 8-seater MPV with advanced features like full LED DRL setup from both front and rear, automatic climate control, multi-functional steering wheel, rear parking sensor, 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, seat belt reminder, a well build windshield among others. If the one still looking for some major safety features such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, they can go for its top-spec ZX(O) trim.
As far as the engine is concerned, it features a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and 2.0-litre strong-hybrid powertrain, which generates a power of 172hp, and 184hp respectively. Both engines come with an automatic transmission. Amid this, there is a CVT gearbox available in both powertrain.
The company claimed the MPV is likely to juice up a fuel efficiency of 23.24kpl in the variant hybrid, while the naturally aspirated spec will offer a fuel efficiency of 16.13kpl. The company said that the launch of the new variant will create tough competition in the market and will give more options to the customers to choose the perfect MPV for them.

The wait is almost over! The Japanese car manufacturer Honda finally bringing the updated or facelift version of its feature-loaded sedan City tomorrow. Interested customers will be able to book a test drive and can have their hands on the vehicle before purchasing it.
Ahead of its official presence at the showrooms, a video of the facelift sedan went viral on the internet, where a vehicle was seen parked at the dealership, revealing some of its major changes and new features.

The footage has been shared by the automobile blogger named Yatin Kotlia on Instagram. In the video, he was seen explaining some of the major noticeable changes made by the company in the updated City. He was heard saying that now the customers will get a new Obsidian Blue colour scheme in the sedan, which is not offered in the current variant.
The company has made some minor changes in terms of cosmetics from the front and the back. Now the vehicle comes with tweaked front & rear bumpers with sportier design elements. However, the company has retained all the LED and DRL setups from its existing model.
Amid this, when it comes to the big changes, the company now the offering advanced driver assistance system technology (ADAS) in its petrol version also. Earlier, the technology was being offered in its hybrid versions only.
The new City is now being offered fresh 16-inch alloy wheels, giving a more aggressive look to the vehicle. Talking about the interior, the signature style and typical Honda City vibe remain untouched, featuring the old and same black and beige scheme with faux wood inserts.
In order to reach to more masses, the company has introduced a base-spec SV variant in the vehicle, which will join the other variants such as V, VX and ZX variants.
