Man arrested on sexual harassment charges

MANGALURU: A 52-year-old man was arrested from Kasaragod in Kerala on Tuesday on the charge of sexually harassing a 26-year-old man.
According to city police commissioner Kuldeep Kumar R Jain, the accused identified as Muhammed Kunhi works as a sales manager in a jewellery store. He has been charged under IPC sections 377 (unnatural offences) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) .

City police arrested Suhan Yadav, 19, a native of Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh, in connection with the murder of Sanjay, 28, who was also from Uttar Pradesh, at Maravoor here.
According to police, both Suhan and Sanjay were engaged in contruction works at the site of Indian Coast Guard. On March 5, the duo had a heated argument over cooking and washing utensils.
In a fit of rage, Suhan allegedly pushed Sanjay, who fell down and sustained a head injury. He succumbed to his injuries the next day. Bajpe police have launched a detailed investigation into the case.
