In the case of Sisodia’s arrest, there is a new update as ED is questioning former deputy CM, Sisdoia, at the Tihar Jail in connection with the Delhi excise policy scam.
Earlier, on Tuesday, the officials of Enforcement Directorate has questioned and recorded the statement of the former AAP leader. The agency has mad a fresh probe in the case as they taken businessman Arun Ramchandra Pillai in the custody.
The ED has summoned MLC of Bharatiya Rashtriya Samiti and Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrashekhar Rao’s daughter K Kavitha for questioning on Thursday. She was questioned by the CBI in december, last year.
Notably, Sisodia was arrested on February 26 in connection with the alleged irregularities in the framing and implementation of the excise policy of GNCTD. Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court sent him to Judicial Custody till 20 March.
