Samsung’s ultra-loud party speaker just got a $200 price cut

Whether you’re watching movies or listening to music, you deserve a high quality speaker — especially if you’re having people over. The speakers set the tone of the party, and a tiny Bluetooth speaker just isn’t going to cut it. Samsung is one of the highest quality audio equipment manufacturers in the world, and they have a great speaker for parties: the MX-ST90B Sound Tower. It’s great for both indoor and outdoor events. It isn’t exactly cheap, but right now it has a nice discount. It’s $200 off, bringing the total to $1,000. Here’s why you should consider dropping that kind of cash on your sound system.

Why you should buy the Samsung MX-ST90B Sound Tower

What sets the MX-ST90B Sound Tower is the massive 1,700 watts of power it can put through its speakers, meaning you can fill a significantly large room with sound if you’d like. It has six speakers inside, two of each bass, mids, and tweeters, so you have a full range of frequencies to work with, especially if you love bass since it has some excellent bass boosting. We certainly appreciate the app that connects to the speaker, which gives you a lot of control over the EQ, something we don’t often find in speakers that come with preset EQs. Speaking of which, if you’d rather not fuss around with EQ settings, there are a few sound modes that you can pick from Party, Standard(MONO), Hip-Hop, EDM, Rock, Latin, House, and Regeea.

Besides the great audio, the MX-ST90B has many great features that you’d find on some of the best Bluetooth speakers on the market. For starters, you can connect to two mobile devices, so it’s easier to pick the next track, which is a big deal if you’re in a group full of music lovers. You also can connect up to two of these massive tower speakers if you want to equip a big area like a pool or garden. Luckily, it has an IPX5 rating for water resistance, although you can look at our article explaining water and dust resistance for audio gear to understand better what you can get away with. It also has a ton of RGB lights that you can sync with different mode types and a couple of handy little wheels to make moving it around easier.

Overall, the MX-ST90B Sound Tower is an excellent audio device if you want audio fidelity and power, especially given this deal from Samsung, which brings it down to $1,000. That said, if this is a bit too powerful or expensive for your needs, check out some of these other Bluetooth speaker deals for alternatives.

If you've missed recent chances to enjoy a discount when buying the Bose QuietComfort 45 wireless headphones, here's another one -- a $50 price cut from Best Buy that brings them down to $279 from $329. If you don't take advantage of this offer, we're not sure when the next one will happen, so if you've got the cash, there's no reason to hold back on buying these noise-canceling headphones.

Why you should buy the Bose QuietComfort 45
Bose pioneered active noise cancellation technology in the '70s, according to our headphone buying guide, so it's no surprise that this is one of the strongest features of the Bose QuietComfort 45 wireless headphones. It's got six external microphones and enhanced signal processing for an improved ability of blocking external noise, and it also has an Aware Mode that will use the microphones to pick up the sound around you so you can listen to your surroundings without having to take off the wireless headphones. Bose's TriPort acoustic architecture creates deep and clear sound, while adjustable EQ lets you further tune the audio to your preferences.

Forget LG and Sony: Samsung’s 65-inch OLED TV is $1,000 off
2022 Samsung OLED TV S95B seen on a media unit.

The 65-inch Samsung S95B OLED is on a big sale today. We're talking four digits. It's for a limited time only, of course, but if you act quickly it is all yours. The 65-inch Samsung S95B OLED is typically a $3,000 TV, but you can get it today for just $2,000. That's $1,000 in total savings. If you're not yet sure what TV size to buy, or know you need a smaller TV, you should also be aware that the 55-inch version is also on a pretty big sale. It's usually $2,200, but has been dropped down by $600 to a very palatable $1,600. Either way, these are OLED TV deals that you shouldn't consider missing, but might if you don't act soon.

Why you should buy the Samsung S95B OLED
The first thing to work through with the Samsung S95B OLED is what it truly means to be an "OLED" TV. Let's start by comparing OLED vs QLED, the top two display techs you'll see in typical TVs. Between the two, OLED TVs — like the Samsung S95B OLED — reign supreme due to their great viewing angles, deep blacks, and power-saving tech. In fact, the Samsung S95B OLED is a bit beyond a standard OLED and is something we like to call a QD-OLED, which provides enriched brightness on top of the deep darks. It even has improved color accuracy. You'll basically only see this tech in the Samsung S95B OLED and Sony A95K, so if you want in on it, this is the deal for you.
