Avenue Supermart share price up 0.37 per cent

Shares of Avenue Supermarts Ltd. traded 0.37 per cent up at Rs 3402.5 at around 11:33AM (IST) on Thursday. The stock had closed at Rs 3390.05 in the previous session. Equity benchmark Sensex traded 100.18 points lower at 60247.91 around the same time.


The scrip has declined 16.98 per cent in the last one year till date, while the 30-share index has gained 10.88 per cent during the same period.

The stock's 52-week high price stood at Rs 4606.0 and the 52-week low price at Rs 3185.1.

Trading volume on the counter stood at 10,883 shares, while it quoted a price-to-earnings ratio of 94.0, an EPS value of 36.2 and a price-to-book value of 18.94. In the Nifty50 pack, 19 stocks traded in the green, while 31 stocks were in the red.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 74.99 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2022, while overseas investor and MF ownership stood at 8.63 per cent and 6.4 per cent, respectively.

Key Financials
For the quarter ended 31-Dec-2022, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 11600.61 crore, up 8.68 per cent from the previous quarter's Rs 10673.9 crore and up 25.5 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 9243.72 crore. The company reported net profit of Rs 589.68 crore for the latest quarter.
