Karnataka: 'Congress people removed the teeth of Lokayukta and formed ACB', says Cabinet Minister Kota Shrinivas Poojari

Karnataka Cabinet Minister Kota Shrinivas Poojari on March 09 accused Congress of taking away power from Lokayukta and said that their government-controlled Anti-Corruption Bureau restored the power of Lokayukta instead. He said, “Congress people removed the teeth of Lokayukta and formed ACB. Our government-controlled ACB restarted Lokayukta, the same Lokayukta with full freedom filed a disproportionate asset case against Madal Virupakshappa and his son. The investigation is going on. In history, no such case was filed against ruling party MLA.”
