Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Thursday at 11:27AM

Sikko Industries(up 4.97%), Bohra Industries(up 4.73%), Agro Phos(up 2.35%), Aries Agro(up 2.17%), National Fertilizer(up 2.16%), Rama Phosphates(up 1.96%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 1.67%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.59%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.38%) and KRISHANA(up 0.37%) were among the top gainers.

Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 3.73%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 2.05%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (down 1.21%), G S F C(down 0.54%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 0.32%) and ZUARIAGRO(down 0.11%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 41.7 points down at 17712.7, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 128.27 points at 60219.82 at around 11:27AM.

Cipla(up 2.13%), Tata Steel(up 1.78%), Bharti Airtel(up 1.57%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(up 1.53%), NTPC(up 1.45%), Axis Bank(up 1.43%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.14%), Larsen & Toubro(up 0.8%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 0.75%) and JSW Steel(up 0.68%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises(down 5.07%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 2.25%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 2.12%), Reliance Industries(down 1.44%), SBI Life(down 1.4%), ITC(down 1.12%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 0.99%), Tata Consultancy(down 0.88%), Tech Mahindra(down 0.85%) and Hero MotoCorp(down 0.78%) were trading in the red.
