MYSURU: Zilla panchayat CEO KM Gayathri on Wednesday directed officers to provide facilities to physically challenged voters at all polling booths in the district. Ramps and wheelchair facilities should be provided to them. Ahead of assembly elections, chairing the Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation meeting at zilla panchayat, she all polling booths must be disabled-friendly.

Meanwhile, Deputy commissioner KV Rajendra held interaction with centenarians on voting in the elections. He inquired about the heath of the centenarians.
According to Rajendra, there are 84,992 voters in the district who have crossed 80 years of age, 1,057 voters who have completed 100 years of age and 16,900 voters who have completed 90 years of age.
