Tech View: Nifty charts show buy on dips mode.
Indicating that traders are finding ‘buy on dips’ opportunity in the market, Nifty today formed a bullish candle with a longer lower shadow. Now, till it holds above 17,700 zones, the momentum may extend towards 17,850-17,950 zones whereas supports are shifting higher at 17,635-17,525 zones, said Chandan Taparia of Motilal Oswal.

Oil near flat as US crude stock draw contends with economic concerns
Oil prices were near flat on Thursday, as a larger-than-expected draw in U.S. crude stocks contended with worries that more aggressive U.S. interest rate rises would strain economic growth and therefore dent oil consumption.Brent crude futures had edged higher by 5 cents to $82.71 per barrel by 0103 GMT, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures gained 5 cents to $76.71 a barrel.
