&PrivéHD announces special programming lineup to celebrate Oscars Sunday

This Sunday, 12th March &PrivéHD brings a day-long lineup of Oscar-winning films. So, what are you waiting for? Block your calendar, cancel the outdoor plans and enjoy a refreshing Sunday.

The binge starts with the Portuguese art film City of God at 7:30 AM. Birds of the same feather flock together? But always does this hold relevance every time? The film is the story of Zé Pequeno, a successful mobster who now rules Rio de Janeiro. He incites violence and terror while mercilessly eliminating competing gangs. On the other hand, his closest buddy Buscapé-Rocket tries his best to keep the good alive in Ze. Does he succeed? Watch this engaging drama to know.



At 9:15 AM comes Mitchells Vs The MachinesThe animated comedy film is about an ordinary family who finds themselves in the middle of their biggest family challenge, saving the world from the robot apocalypse! Everything from smartphones to Roombas, to evil Furbys, is employed to capture every human on the planet. Now it’s up to the Mitchells, including upbeat mom Linda, quirky little brother Aaron, their squishy pug, Monchi, and two friendly, but simple-minded robots to save humanity.

Next comes Tintin with his adventures. Intrepid reporter Tintin and Captain Haddock set off on a treasure hunt for a sunken ship commanded by Haddock’s ancestor in the film The Adventures of Tintin. 

Tintin will be followed by Captain James Hook in the film HookStarring Dustin Hoffman, Robin Williams and Julia Roberts is an adventure comedy and will run from 12:30 PM.

Apart from the aforesaid, audiences can also watch Taxi Driver, Jerry Maguire, Captain Phillips, The Patriot and Blade Runner 2049.
