Goons thrash man to death, family protests at Bajaj Nagar thana

JAIPUR: A 49-year-old man in Bajaj Nagar was killed after he was allegedly thrashed by goons on Tuesday night.
SHO (Baja Nagar) Devendra Jhakhar said that the victim was identified as Vinod Kumar, a resident of Gautam Nagar.
The victim's family and locals gathered outside the Bajaj Nagar police station on Wednesday morning to demand the immediate arrest of all the accused.
BJP MLA Kalicharan Saraf was also present at the protest and asked cops to arrest culprits as soon as possible. As per sources, one of the suspects has already been identified in the case.
"The primary investigation indicates there a bitter rivalry led to Kumar's murder. One of the suspects has been identified in the case while others are on the run," added an official.
Police said the accused thrashed Kumar with sticks and rods, leading to his death. "We have zeroed in on all suspects. The technical team is tracking the locations of all suspects so that they could be arrested soon," the official said.
