Delhi Police celebrates International Women’s Day

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Delhi Police organized a special program at Le Diamond Banquet Hall in Yamuna Vihar of the North-East district. The World Championships Bronze Medalist Indian Boxer Simranjit Kaur graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Many senior police officers including DCP of North-East District Dr. Joy N Tirkey and civilians of the area were also present. During the event, 30 ladies including police personnel and civilians both were felicitated by the Chief Guest with prize money and mementos for their contribution towards policing and maintaining communal harmony. Speaking on the occasion, senior police officers emphasized on the capability of women and urged everyone for the empowerment of women by providing them better education.
