A Punjab village has Four women who call the shots in the Panchayat

A woman sarpanch from Punjab Harjinder Kaur, has been honoured with the 'Swachh Sujal Shakti Samman-2023' national award for improving sanitation in her village, Peroshah. Kaur, who was conferred the award by the President on March 4, was given a huge welcome back in her village on her return from Delhi.
