Police detains YS Sharmila in Hyderabad for staging protest against Telangana govt

Police detained YSR Telangana party chief YS Sharmila on March 08 for staging a protest at Tank Bund against the Telangana government. She sat on a silent protest near the statue of Rani Rudrama Devi on Tank Bund with party workers to protest alleged crimes against women in the state. She was initially shifted to Bollaram police station and is now being shifted to her residence in Lotus Pond.
